Il Poeta Contadino Country House Restaurant is located on a gentle hill between Perugia and Assisi. It is a sober and elegant restaurant for weddings, in perfect harmony with the landscape that surrounds it.
The refined simplicity of the structure, combined with the authenticity and originality of the dishes offered, make this country house the ideal setting for your wedding banquet.
Il Poeta Contadino has an important dedicated Barbecue area: the ideal place to taste our first quality meats, carefully selected and cooked on charcoal embers. During the wedding is the “Show Cooking” place, where you can taste various specialties of land and sea strictly freshly prepared.
The pool area is a very important part of the structure, thanks to its clover shape and its aesthetic beauty is the ideal place for cocktails and welcome drinks, during the day it offers a place of pure relaxation where you can lie in the sun in absolute tranquility and with the magical backdrop of the picturesque hills of Umbria. It includes a whirlpool and a children’s area and near the pool: umbrellas, deckchairs, bath and shower.
The cuisine of the Restaurant Il Poeta Contadino revisits the dishes of the traditional Umbrian cuisine, proposing them in a contemporary way, combining the flavors and playing on contrasts.
